Our eyes and ears are always alert to new products and ingredients that have proven or potential life-changing impact. LimuPlus was born from that passion!

We started hearing about the time honored benefits of "adaptogens" several years ago--we referred to them ,at that time as Biological Response Modifiers--because they had the ability to modify the way the body responded biologically to demands and stimuli--in other words--they helped the body adapt to its inside and outside environment! It is said, that this special variety of plants have, themselves, been born of the adversity of extreme temperature variations, radiation exposure, altitude variances, sea pressure, toxic exposure, stresses of drought and water variances and even meteor devastation (the Discovery Channel had a special on the total devastation created by meteor in 1908 in the same area of the Primorye Forest that our adaptogens are native to. The program said that after the devastation certain plants grew back to create one of the most botanically active regions in the world--now that's adaptation!)

We believe that time has proven that this incredible response can be shared with the people who consume these incredible plants and actually enhance their biological responses so that they can adapt to the demands of an ever-changing and increasingly toxic environment--it adapts!

Hence, our interest in adaptogens was born--the plan was made--we started looking at the incredible amount of research--research born in the 1950's in Russia. Now, back to our amazing story: The Russian government actually commissioned its Academy of Science to create a product to offer maximum human performance. They involved some 1200 scientists and what led to thousands studies to accomplish this. They were focusing on what they saw as their future--the reputation of their athletes, ballet dancers, chess champions,cosmonauts and even Olympic horses--they wanted to build incredible physical specimens!
